Laboratory of Biology innovative teaching techniques

According to Regulations on the laboratory, which is determined by the requirements of the Ministry of Education and science of Ukraine, taking into account the latest pedagogical and methodological achievements science, practice of fundamental and applied training activities the staff of the laboratory is conducted in the following areas:
- implementation of the competency approach in the educational process in the preparation of students majoring in Secondary Education “Biology and Human Health”;
- introduction of innovative learning technologies in education process during the study of biology;
- training of future teachers biology to implement the basic requirements of the New Ukrainian School;
- conducting training sessions with students and teachers in order to prepare them for application of modern educational technologies;
- conducting seminars, round tables, pedagogical readings, discussions on certain topics.

In recent years, the main results of the laboratory are: edition teaching aids; development of video libraries of lessons and extracurricular activities events on biology of the best teachers of Uman and Uman region; development programs and workshops on disciplines “Methods of teaching biology and natural sciences “,” Methods of teaching biology in a specialized school “,” Methods teaching biology in high school “,” Methods of organizing extracurricular activities schoolchildren “,” Methods of organizing the naturalistic work of schoolchildren “, etc.
